It's been over 20 years since Dave Grohl first met the woman he instantly knew would become his life-partner. It was in 2001, when Dave was out with his best friend, the late drummer Taylor Hawkins, that it all began. The friends had been at Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in West Hollywood, and Dave was there as Taylor's wingman, not really interested in getting into a relationship at the time.
